KDFI 1.4 Lambda problem

Beitrag von snicolae »

Hello!
Sorry i don't speak German. I could find anythink online about my problem.

I have a problem with my lambda controller.
Setup:
- KDFI 1.4 Basic 3.4.2 firmware;
- new wideband 0258007351 tested on Innovate LC1 in another car, it works;
- wiring ok;
- GP2 connected to ground;
- WB out connected to OXY;
- engine starts, all sensors are reading ok.

The problem:
Lambda stays at 14.7-14.9 most of time, and sometimes goes to 18-19 and stays there until i restart the engine.
The green led flashes quick for about 30 seconds after startup, then flashes slowly until i stop the engine. On ocasion the red led flashes once briefly.
I tried to richen up the mixture to see if it reads a rich condition and it never does.

Calibrate AFR Table, EGO Sensor Custom Linear WB, 0-5 Volt, 10-20 AFR.
AFR reading starts a few seconds later after engine running.
Internally: It is possible that the jumper SJ3 was not set. This is located behind the wide black plug under the plugged board.
Alternatively, it would be possible to otherwise connect the GP2 pin to ground.

Thank you, Bob!

The AFR table is calibrated to linear 0-5V, 10-20 AFR.
I don't think JS3 is present on the Basic version, but only on the plug&play ones.
GP2 is connected to ground.
The engine has been run for almost 4 hours, the lambda never works. The leds are indicationg that the controller is functioning OK.
